from my understanding even if you deposit 300, 000 to day and some one deposit 300, 000 next tomorrow to your account they will add the sum to 600, 000 and charge you the appropriate % even if it is 10 people deposit 100, 000 each and at different occasions:

Misplaced Priority...... You wake up and make policies that will soothe only the elites sorry the polithiefians and economic buccaneers. What about those guys at the Bank bulk room, what will happen to them? Your guess is as good as mine.
We copy other countries that have developed virtually all their sectors and have multiple employment avenues while we are still faced with large-scale infrastructural deficits mtchewwwwwwww....

It's a good one.
It's just that Nigerian people are problematic and like free stuffs too much

Why withdraw N3m cash without paying some charges?

Besides, how many Nigerians even have the 500k sef that they are all making noise? huh

We always in a hurry to go into some policies that are not popular. Why can't the authorities hurry for infrastructures like power, road, agriculture and put in good policies to ease way we do business and the rest. The best thing that would transform Nigeria over night is steady electricity and yet nobody knows exactly what is happening in that key sector. I see useless leaders of Nigeria every time.

It means that if I have 2 accounts with Diamond Bank, for example, I will be charged if the total deposit/withdrawal on both accounts exceed the free limit allowed. They will assume it's one account.

POS is free for the customer.

But the banks pay an average of 100k to provide one for you.

So they ensure that they only give VIABLE customers who can help them recover their INVESTMENT faster.

A viable customer guarantees constant transactions and a pre-agreed minimum transaction value on the machine.

Can you guarantee that?

If so, send me a mail.

Read very well. It says regardless of the channel of withdrawal or deposit.

Channels could be virtual or physical.

It not a cashless policy, it a new set of bank charges......... angry

They wan use people buy houses for Dubai like Buratai..... angry
It is for cash deposits and withdrawals only... please take note

Processing charges on cash deposits will be applied on transactions which are above the stipulated limits. These have been revised as follows:

Sorry dear, if i must guarantee 200k monthly as they used to say, what is the meaning of cashless policy?, this is to me a scam meant to further frustrate poor farmers, less income earners and other petty traders, They told us to have our ATM card that the machine works 24/7, Just try most of the ATM on Sundays , you will never get that cash for emergencies, many villages have to travel 3-5hours just to do banking transaction, We in this part of the world are not ready for this now, Why must bank set that stupid minimum transaction limit when small scale entrepreneur may not be able to meet up with that criteria, This is arrant nonsense of the highest order, please try to understand me , i am speaking from the poor man point of view where my monthly business capital is 150k, how can i meet up, but to make my business grow faster if I may require POS, shame to the country i belong , that their policy doesn't accommodate poor man, poor or average people were often neglected in almost everything ,

Please this is personal opinion

There is something for everyone.

Mobile Money will soon be relaunched.

Special POS Apps will soon hit the market.

Baby steps...

But grow we must.

FIAT currency is too expensive to produce.

Cashless it is...

You're right. We must grow, and it's been coming.

Banks like Union Bank today are providing very efficient POS services for businesses and entrepreneurs thereby making the transition to a cashless society seamless.

A cashless society is definitely a step in the right direction.
