you think the western world would honor Christ with an important thing as a calendar or date viz : BC ( Before Christ) and AD ( Anno Dominen - in the year of the Lord) and for your information this Gregorian calendar is also patterned on Christ e.g year 2016 means about 2016 years ago ,the birth of Jesus took place.
