MTN Nigeria keeps defrauding me by subscribing me to services I never requested for.

It started about 3 weeks ago, I received a text message from MTN that I have subscribed to a service, before I know what was happenings another two messages was delivered to my line for different services, some thing I never subscribed for, I called customer care, they apologized and cancelled the subscription but my money was never returned. I was told to active 'do not disturb' services which I did immediately.

Fast forward to today I first received an SMS from them about a subscription I never subscribe for again, I quickly call customer service again, they apologized again without returning my money, and I informed the guy in question that my lime is strictly for call and data, I told him I don't want any subscription from MTN that Google is there to give me any information I need.

After like 5 mins after calling customer care another subscription was activated for me again, see me see wahala o, I called again the subscription was cancel but my money was not refund.

"Dear Customer, you have successfully subscribed to Daily News and N10.00 deducted from your account. Your service will be renewed on 2017-03-30. To cancel, text STOP NEWS to 44001. Enjoy!"

"You have successfully unsubscribed from Daily News . To subscribe to Daily News again, text NEWS to 44001. Thank you!"

"Dear Customer,Your Ticket has been Registered and your Reference Number is: 69000911. For Self-Service on the go, download MyMTN App using this link http://smartapp.mtnnigeria.net:8080/dls/mtnn"

"Dear Customer, you have successfully subscribed to Cycle Rate and N50.00 deducted from your account. Your service will be renewed on 2017-04-05. To cancel, text STOP CRATE to 44001. Enjoy!"

"Y'ello, you have unsubscribed from Cycle Rate. To subscribe to Cycle Rate again, send CRATE to 44001".

My question is why was I subscribed to a service I never subscribed to and my money not refunded.

No be today , mtn has been ripping nigerians their earned m0ney,
U will just be playing with your phone and a pop up message will just appear from no where saying u have unfinished subscription ....

Call the customer care. They'll rectify it

sue them while xenophobia is at hand

You can of course write to NCC and drop the mail at their gate. It will b treated. Write to their EVC. Cheers

e tire me too o. Lost more than 100 bucks to all their gimmicks

Report the mtn to your lawyer and sue mtn
