As shared by a twitter user, @FulanNasrulah the story that 21-year-old Senator’s son was alleged to have r*ped his victim through the an*s.

When the incident was reported to the boy’s father, he got the father of the victim, who is also his guard arrested.

The unnamed senator reportedly claimed that the guard wants to ruin his political career. @FulanNasrulah noted that the Department of State Security operatives arrested the senator’s son, but the lawmaker was able to get his son off the leash by manipulating the system. According to Zuma Times Hausa, the photo above shows the remains of the 7 year old girl. So sad. The tweets below:

The most tragic part of this news is not that the senator managed to manipulate the system to free his son, it is that this kind of things have become normal in Nigeria. People rape, brutalize and kill other people and our system will not bring them to justice. Just a little exchange of money or peddling of influence and the lunatic will be released back into the society. Nigerians will make noise about it on social media for about a week and then it is forgotten and we move on as if nothing happened until the next headlines is made by another lunatic and the circle repeats itself
