A facebook user, Shanooun Sahnun shared the following photos of some children suffering from meningitis lying on the floor of Shehu Shagari Hospital in Zamfara State.

He wrote; This is Shehu Shagari General Hospital, Gusau Zamfara State, following pictures are for young children infected with meningitis disease in Hospital, please look at the way Abdul Aziz Yari Abubakar decided to put his state and claims that the disease was punishment from God; can this man has pity on his people? Can he care about children? Can he allow his children to be treated such way? If you asked they will say they are waiting for Federal Government to intervene after all they grant, bailout, Paris loan refund.

Where have we gone wrong?
This isn't just Nigeria....its humanity .

This is shameful.

The result of bad leadership, embezzlement, vision less and I don't care attitude..

Where are our leaders?
They are busy looting funds and showing off on social media while children suffer and die hard.

Mass burial for our leaders by the youths otherwise na like this e go dey.

I almost wept when the shameless governor to that state said the epidermic was as a result of too many sins committed. He must be high on Zamfara weed before saying that. What a shame

Look at how the Mallams are dressed (they don't look like professional docs or nurses) and why would they hang the drip on a pole . Please God save those little kids.

Gosh, atleast they are being attended to which is better than being left to die... My useless country.

The rooms are probably hot, no acs, no fans and ofcourse no electricity and thats probably why they were moved outside to an airy place, cos heat makes the disease worse.....hope they recover.
