Greetings! We have noticed the following abnormalities which is delaying our starting up: - multiple entries - not choosing an option - sending only one of the requirements Pls be reminded that u are supposed to choose from the following A. Mini Importation business package B. Make my own poultry Feeds C. Both a and b Do not choose more than one Do not send us entries without a selection Do not send us entries with only a phone number or an email address. U need to send both Do not send multiple entries. U are either dropping ur entry on this thread, via email or phone number. Pls dnt use more than one. Do not send another entry if u have already done so If we follow this rule, it will make our work easier. We will be sending out the first email soon. The email will explain the package u chose, the value u will be getting and the requirements. You are to respond to that email at least within 72 hrs before being added to the whatsapp group Pls this is optional service. No one is compelling anyone to do anything. We have had 2 training of this kind before with testimonials from over 50 participants in either of our packages. We don't need unserious people We only need action takers. Today I will be explaining the various types of feeds broilers feed on. There are mainly 4 types of feeds for broilers namely., a. Pre-starter: this is given to doc till they are 7 days old. It protein content, enzymes and nutritional values are usually very high and of utmost quality. It helps the chick gain all the necessary nutrients that helps it withstand stress and diseases when grown. b. Starter: this is given to the birds from 7 days to 3 weeks more. Also have high protein content. c. Grower: this is fed to the birds from when they are 4 weeks to their 8 weeks. This feed has less protein content D. Finisher: this is fed to the birds from their 8 weeks to their 12th weeks. It has a little higher carbohydrates content than the rest with appreciable amount of protein. All the 3 types of feeds comes in 2 texture - pelleted : they are more refined. Vita feeds is an example. - mashed : example is the type produced by Livestock, Hybrid, etc You can make ur feeds following the right steps with the understanding of how to ratio the nutritional content /supplements. You can also feed ur chicks logically without following the sequence above and u will still gt optimum results. You can also make ur own feeds and save 30-50%, learn how to do so. Going one right no on our "make your feed' whatsapp group: How to save 30 - 50% cost making poultry feeds- Part 1 Introduction: Smart Life greetings to everyone! I trust u had a great palm Sunday? Well, I did. There is a reason why I love agriculture. Among many other things is that, I see it as the major way out of Nigeria's struggle with fuel. The recession has taught us all what a great mistake we have done relying mainly on fuel as our national major source of income. The agricultural sector has no limitations unlike other sectors of any economy. It is true that it requires hardwork and diligence but what other successful venture doesn't? Summarily, what am saying is that, I am proud to be a farmer and more importantly, I am proud to be in the poultry farming business because to me, its the leading way out of any economic disaster. I am more honoured to know that I have people like you having this foresight. To this I say, congratulations. Every farmer in the poultry farming business knows that the major activity carried out on the farm is Feeding. I mean, all other activities like cleaning, vaccination, management etc all occur once in a while but whether you are into layers, broilers, turkey or any other sector of the business, you must always feed your birds. This sometimes can even be tiring. I understand this because, I am currently having a 700 broiler birds capacity farm. Those "guys' eat about 2 bags of feeds daily and this is done morning, afternoon and night. If feeding is the major activity that takes place on the farm, it is only logical to conclude that it holds the major expenses. Also, feeding controls every result you get, be it egg production, or weight gain. These results are where your profits lies. Therefore, any farmer who is able to fully control this aspect rise in the business more swiftly than others. I know this because as at June 2016 I was on a 250 broiler farm and then out of curiosity I went on research, put in time and energy to get a formula that works. By the end of July I was already controlling 600 birds and then 700 birds. From 250 birds in just months? I am currently working on expanding to 2500 broiler farm by this year ending. I am telling u this not to brag but to let u know, there is no limit to how much or how fast you can grow if u know exactly how to manage your feeding. The easiest way to manage your feed is to make the feed yourself. Here is why; - except for a few feed manufacturers who keep to standards in poultry feed formulations, many feed companies make very poor quality feeds. - poor quality feeds lead to a slow growth in chickens, low egg production, diseases or even death - this can lead to huge losses My friend, you'd agree with me that time is key to this business we do. Personally, I start marketing my birds from 5 weeks. If I don't get a good weight at that time, it will slow the business. Providing your chickens with quality feeds makes them grow faster and you sell faster, turnover and make more profit. Another problem farmers face with company processed feeds is the high price. I mean u buy cost, may be poor quality then experience delay and low or no profit at all. Wouldn't it be better if u make your own feeds even if it cost more? you'd save time and make profit. Making your own feed puts you practically in charge of the exact nutrition your chickens get. It puts you in charge of the results you get. Wouldn't you love to have this? The question now is, is there a way for farmers to make their own feed, save cost and maximise profit? The answer is.. yes! I will be showing you how (on the whatsappgroup) you can save 30 - 50% on production cost making your own feeds. But don't forget, you are only getting 30%. Lol! You can still join.
