Please help engineers in the house my laptop battery has stopped charging, when i plugged it it showed d red light which indicates dt its charging and after 2 to 3 secs it shows the white light wch indicates battery full.. To cap it all it writes battery not changing in its indicator and when nepa light is off the system goes off too.. Thanks in advance... My first post on nairaland though.

Have you try another battery or charger with it

Its time to buy a new battery though

Okkk... Will try using another battery or charger wen i get home serving in a remote village. Thanks.. Was told maybe its d IC dt is dead dt is why its not taking power in... Not sure of that though

Eyah probably the problem maybe from board, but first try another battery and see the difference

Mine too is having same problem, doesn't get fully charged no matter how long I charge it. HP dv6

Yes, it still not charging fully. Always 50-60% and it will stop

I guess you need to get another battery to your system. Let me know if another option works

Do you reside in lagos island.. If yes.. I can fix the issue on your laptop for a token..
