A report on foreignpolicy.com by Robbie Gramer has linked the former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to one of the biggest oil corruption scandals in history.

Shell denied any complicity/role in $1billion of Nigerian public funds disappearing. New leaked docs prove otherwise.

One leaked email from Shell employee: “Etete can smell the money...I think he knows its his for the taking.

One Nigerian businessman, Aliyu Abubakar, withdrew $54,418,000 in cash after Shell/Eni deal on oil field was struck.

According to Milan prosecutors office, another $466,065,965.44 was withdrawn in cash -- IN CASH -- after Shell/Eni Nigerian oil deal struck.


That money was then divvied up in personal accounts of Nigerian pres Goodluck Jonathan, the attorney general, petroleum & defense ministers.


This is one of, if not the,biggest corruption scandals in oil industry's history. Shell denied any role, but new leaked emails prove otherwise.

Jonathan was probably still in the university by then.

To now attempt to Link it to Jonathan is nothing but calculated mischief .

How is GEJ responsible for that ?

2. Fastforwad to 2011, Shell wants to buy the said oil block from Etete's Malibu Oil in a PRIVATE, Legitimate business transaction.
How does that concern GEJ?

3. Internal BP emails show that top brass discussed and expressed concern about Dan Etete's past as a convict and that he MIGHT use part of the sale proceeds for political settlements or bribes of government officials THAT MIGHT INCLUDE the then president GEJ.
This is nothing but an innocent gossip, a CONJECTURE based on innuendo.

An oil field valued at about $500b but was acquired by paying the NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT (headed by who??) $1.3b in 2011......and you claim there were no kick backs?? Innocent gossip??
