I don't think Nigerians are that bad in speaking English. The problem lies with the large portions of the northern part of the country where they speak Hausa and English is not encouraged. This gives a net drawback negative effect on the rest of the country especially in the English speaking southern parts of the country.

The topic is about English, not Pidgin.

What a typical Southerner speaks is Pidgin, not English.

You can attack south africans all you want they didn't make that list speak to the people who did lolll. We don't care about being better in English we have 10 other official languages to use. Plus developing the country further and having higher hdi and literacy rate is more our thing than "impressing the owner's of English " lolll

Lol the guy ordered my food and drinks on the first date and I made a mistake of letting it slide and brushing it off as a silly mistake lolll. And second time he wanted me to taste their food and when I couldn't even pretend to be interested he started with the usual rants we read here about how brainwashed we are for not liking foreign African things loll mxm. and I went for a third punishment lol probably because he was one of 4 datable African guys where we were. He had told me on our previous "dates " that he was moving to mzantsi ne, so on this date Mr dude proposed marriage hahahaha. He said he ain't lazy like "our men" lol he would take care of my every need Hahahaha. Ndandikhamisile thinking it was a prank coz I didn't even know the guy for starters and I was just a visitor pha and ndi zinofobic kakhulu to even try something like that lol not to even mention I went to the dates out of boredom not looking for anything serious. And It was before I knew ngo desperado bempepha zalapha. I said I would think about it coz the environment had turned kinda tense after i I lolled. Ndafika ndaxelela my sister whom I was visiting wandihleka and told me about the whole paper thang they do. I left a few days after without meeting him again...he lectured me online loobhuti about being selfish and how God was going to punish me Hahahaha
