It is highly ironical to say there is anything good about that day. The day the son of God suffered and died like a criminal. What is good about the day? The suffering or the death judgement or the way he died? Why are we lying about the day by calling it "good" when the bible recorded that darkness covered the whole land for three hours after his death. why must we lie about the day?

It should be called 'bad' because of the experience of that day but because of what it represents which is the sacrifice for mankind(that is a good thing) it is called 'good friday'.

1. Jesus could have still refused to die because he had d choice. So victory began immediately he died.
2. Dat day was d only day there was no single demon on earth because every demon was in hell to fight Jesus (pls dnt ask me for biblical reference for this)
3. D day ur wife goes into labour can never be a bad day unless she dies in labor.
4. No single day is ever a bad day? God has made all days beautiful so it would rather be a sin seeing any God made as bad

If he arose after 3 days theoretically na Thursday when him die!

The whole thing na made up story..... Plaguerised from the Egyptian book of the dead.

His death atoned for our sin.

And that's good enough.

His suffering and death on that day was a necessity. Why? Because we do not look at his suffering in isolation from his burial and resurrection, rather we look at the whole event that took place within those 3days of his death and resurrection and the implication it has for mankind.

If Jesus had died on that day forever, it would have been a very bad Friday.
But he rose again and by his rising from the dead, he subdued the enemy and gave us life.

So it is a good Friday - the day our redemption took place.

He suffered, died and rose again so that we may have life.

Good Friday marks the day Christ redeemed man to himself

It is good because our salvation is complete in His death and resurrection.

Easter itself is a pagan holiday.

Its Good. Just that "But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him; and he cannot know them because they are spiritually discerned" 1 Cor 2:14

Its called good because of its significance and the subsequent glory, not the sufferings of Christ.

Y will it be a sin when the essence of the death wasn't In vain. He died for the redemption of man from D Bondage of sin and put a stop to Sin and Kingdom of darkness.

In Conclusion, it ain't a sin. In fact, it's blessed

It is not, because the day my lord died fulfilled the purpose of His coming. Just as we celebrate men who has achieved great things in the world when they dies. Mind you Jesus is not dead He is alive forever.

The purpose he died for was the reason it was termed Good Friday, not how He died. Thanks

every bad intention of the gates of hell were suddenly turned in to Good via his resurrection .so it was meant bad but turned Good
