I agree with much of what he has said but the fact that he has not used his office/status to set a better example to northerners makes him part of the problem.

Sanusi as Emir has a lot of clout.
He should deploy that into leadership by example. He cannot be doing swagger with Rolls Royce etc when he can be seen in primary schools with girls, donating books, microscopes and other learning aids.
That is what will give him an unassailable platform to preach morals to others.
Anything short of that will make him an object of ridicule and derision.

Stop using Islam to criticize another person. If Sanusi criticized your leadership. Then you can criticize his leadership. But stop keeping the people in perpetual ignorance.

What have you done for your people. How have you managed public funds.

Stop using religion to incite the people. A dead cleric is not God.
