As stated on the topic, I use an LG G3 D855 (16GB/2GB). Very proud of my 2014 phone. Running Android 7.1.1 Resurrection Remix (lineage os) perfectly. But my problem is I just can't get 4G on my phone. Before anyone rants if my phone is supported, yes it is.
The LG G3 D855 is a 4G supported phone, and supports glo 4G band 28. But for some reason, which has nothing to do with my OS, I can't get the 4G to show up. I'm a techy myself, but this is quite beyond me. I waited for hours to get my 4G sim from glo, don't want my time spent in their office to be a waste.
Location is Ikorodu.
The photo below gives proof my phone locks on to the band 28, but as you'll see in the top right, no network signal when locking the phone to 4G on Glo.

I think the problem should be with the sim... you can try another 4G sim.

The problem is most likely your APN. Glo 4G doesn't work well with glosecure. In fact, reception would simply refuse to come up, just like it is on your screenshot. Change your APN to gloflat, then put your device on Airplane mode or restart. That should resolve it.

Using same phone too current os is zoerom 6 but i would love to try this your rom looks nice and currently on mtn 4g thinking of upgrading my glo to 4g but i hope you get solution to your problem soon.

They are yet to find solution to my problem. One of their agents on glo chat was quite helpful, but it yielded no result. Still on 3G. The next lady I spoke to, Chioma, was an ass. Knows nothing! Simply concluded my phone wasn't compatible. Might just move over to mtn if I don't find a solution soon. But something tells me my location in Ikorodu is my problem.

Resurrection remix is an amazing rom. The maintainers are awesome too. There's already a nougat 7.1.2 for this device but I'm chilling for bugs to be identified and fixed. So far, only the heads up not working has been identified and the next update will fix that. Chilling on the last 7.1.1 build by Rafael Marchetto. So if you're thinking of flashing RR, that's the build you should be after. Clean flash!!!

Call their dedicated 4G help line on 400 and tell them to activate your 4G sim. You have to call them more than once as most of them are clueless. When you receive an sms like in the image below, reboot your phone.

Thanks grandmufti, the guy I chatted with helped with that. Got the text. Rebooted and stayed off for 10 minutes, but still no 4G. So I'm guessing it's my location.

I keep seeing some hausa guys digging and running cables through the ground, so I'm guessing a data provider is preparing the area for 4G

If you can, you should download greenify donation package, activate those doze modes and greenify those apps you feel are not needed in the background to experience 0% battery drain during screen off times.

Using zooper widget pro for my network name.

I'll advise you look through their G+ page. Direct link, update, OTA, user reviews/comments on ROM stability, warnings on apps you're to avoid (like lucky patcher), is all there.

Bro, your model number ehn, e go hard. Most devs support international models. In fact, resurrection remix devs support only international models, with some very few exceptions.

Checked it out. It's awesome. But I don't want an extended case. Bigger battery, but let fit into my stock case.
