It have been depicted that a Christian man was beaten and burnt with hot iron rods as the family of a Muslim woman discovered their daughter's friendship with him.

The christian man was brutally wounded as he was not able to get a complete medical treatment in Sheikhupura, he was transferred to Mayo Hospital, Lahore, on Sunday for better medical care.

A police case has been filed against the family of the woman, who were against the friendship between the christian man, 21-year-old Ansar Masih and their daughter. The incident actually happened earlier this month, April.

Masih met the woman last two years and the friendship grew with time, according to the First Information Report(FIR) stated and signed by Masih's sister in Sheikhupura's Saddar police station.


According to the FIR, they communicated much on phone and Masih sometimes would visit the woman around her vicinity.

As her father, Manzoor, and her brothers noticed the friendship, they contacted Masih's father and asked him to warn his son to stay away from their daughter if they don't want trouble, according to the FIR.

Ansar was supposedly kidnapped by the woman's father and two brothers on April 1, when Ansar's mother sent him an errand around the woman's vicinity. According to the report, they stripped him his cloths and beat him, burning him with hot iron rods.

According to more statements on the FIR, they later brought Ansar to his house and reported to his family that he was involve in a traffic accident.

Ansar later told his family how it all happened after he achieving consciousness, after he was rushed to Sheikhupura's District Headquarters Hospital.

The FIR was submitted by his sister on April 5th, and it was used to take the accused into custody.

The victim's father told the DawnNews that his family have been under threats from the accused and the area police to withdrew the case and settle with them.

The officials of DHQ confirmed that Ansar had been transferred to Lahore's Mayo Hospital, as Sheikhupura Hospital could not handle the patient well with their equipment.

Ansar is recently receiving treatment and is getting better now.
