I just surfed Google for southern Cameroons and trust me this people are heavily marginalized by the Cameroonian government and want out. Their case is pathetic. Interestingly,there was recently a sit at home protest in southern cameroon. Thumbs up to the BNYL guy,Obuka Takon. It won't be bad for both groups to come together and fight for their secession but based on logistics,it's a huge task seeing IPoB has it's hands full already.

Southern Cameroun is presently under Internet blackdown by the repressive Central French speaking government.

Mind you, the S. Cameroun was a part of present day Biafra region before the took off to join the French speaking side after they had an early independent.

Southern Cameroun is under serious marginalization because they speak English and are considered not being part of the struggle for independence.

The best choice is for them to align with IPOB and move the struggle together on international platform.
But IPOB should be careful cos taking in S. Cameroun means making a new powerful enemy - France.

The Southern Camerounian struggle for self-actualization has been a monumental failure and now they are seeking to feed of the relative popularity of a more vocal secessionist group-IPOB in this case. They should go back to southern Cameroun and try to resuscitate their failed "Republic of Ambazonia" project instead of what they are trying to do at present. The mere fact that both ethnic groups share the same culture and history does not mean that they will get along well when they finally get the independent status they desire. If they doubt this,then they should take a quick look at the Nuers and the Dinkas in South Sudan who also shared similar cultural and historical bonds too.
