keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better grin but I doubt it will until you get off your self acclaimed moral high horse.
When you judge people based on the color of their skin, you are a racist.

actually those calling u racist are wrong just as about as it is inappropriate for u to ask us why it wasn't awarded to a nigerian.

1. the government cud have actually called for several ppl who can undertake the task and she comes top. do u want them to say no cos her skin color is different?

2. what if she is undertaking that task for almost free cos she just love doing that? do u expect the government to turn her down?

3. are u sure there aren't others doing the same elsewhere?
we can also say that nigerians are being discriminated by not being offered the job. are you also suggesting that nigerians cannot do it for free? and how would they know if they haven't tried?

i don't think so! she can live in nigeria for 100 years If she like, she is still a white woman! wether you agree or not
White people employ blacks that emmigrate to their lands, why shouldn't we do the same?

I never denied the fact that there is discrimination against ppl based on color or identity. infact ur comments promoted such discrimination in the first place.

secondly I don't see how the second part of ur statement relates to what I posted at all....it seems u didn't read what I typed.

i did, remember you mentioned that she could be doing it for free, so I added nigerians could too, perhaps I may have understood it wrongly.

When you judge people based on the color of their skin, you are a racist.

Of course I proved your point based on racist comment.

The woman is Nigerian, married to a Nigeria and a Lagosian and she's also a member of the Lagos state board of Arts and Culture.

So, white people in the US and the UK should stop giving jobs to Nigerians and Africans because they are black?

Abeg cover your head in shame and quit judging people based on the color of their skin.

You are free to have an opinion, but it still doesn't mean your comment wasn't racist.

The woman is not a nobody, she married a Nigerian and notable Lagosian from the Alakija family, she's also a member of the Lagos state Board of Arts & Culture.
i don't give two shiits! who she is married to, that's not my point, you are been too emotional go and have a pint of beer, smoke some ganja or something and if you are female go get layed it will do you good grin grin

You can not say that unless you have verifiable proof that qualified Nigerians applied for the job and were turned down.

Besides, the woman is widely know for her work all over Lagos state so it's not like the job was given to an unqualified person.

Again, stop making racist judgement.

You don't care about who she is married to, but you want us to believe you are not a racist because you lied that you are married to a white woman.

Add hypocrisy and delusion to your racist problems.

u ppl are there shouting eko onibajo! nobody cares to read meanings in this painting. this woman uses her work to depict horrible situations and injustices in nigeria. she portraits how masses are in cage and chains in this country. she portraits how the nigeria federal system as currently operated depicts enslavement and anti economic and human developments. the system does not permit unleashing and maximization of state and individual potentials and resources.

the painter also used her work show how freedom of expression has been tramped upon in nigeria. there is high level brutality in the hands of law enforcement operative against citizens of nigeria. the enforcement operatives are at whims and caprices of the power that be against their perceived enemies and political opponents. this is a country where those who are vocal are hushed up or be thrown inside imprison. cowardice has become an act of patriotism and national heroism. man is born free but everywhere in chain.

at this juncture i leave it to you to guess who is the imperialist at the centre of advantage of this lopsided federal structure called nigeria.

I was only joking to draw similarities in your decision to the person who might've allowed this person to paint this painting. Bless you and your wife. I hope you have a long and happy marriage.

If they Lagos State govt is going to pay this woman for these paintings, then whoever gave her the contract must be a hopeless, stinking, useless bast.ard. You have thousands of talented Nigerian students in Yabatech, unilag, laspotech and so on who will obviously do a good job and be very proud of it. These are the same bas.tard govt officials chanting buy naija to grow naija.

I was surprised when I saw a white guy under the bridge this afternoon but didn't want to believe they were responsible for the paintings. All our politicians are bunch of animals. Paintings wey agbero go use shit and pee destroy.
