Maybe read first 2/3 pages of this thread from page 0 but each occupation has its NOC code. You don't qualify for NOC, the occupation you have experience in determines ur NOC code. Even runz girls have their NOC code which is prolly 666. So as a financial analyst, you will have your own NOC code. Ur ielts should be broken down, points are awarded individually not ur overall score. For maximum points u need 8.5, 8, 7.5, 7.5 in listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing respectively but most ppl aim for 8777. Read from the very beginning or drop more of ur details to help her ur CRS score and where u can increase it.
thanks for your response. I have 7 in speaking and writing. 8.5 in reading and 7.5 in listening. Education is masters. Age 34. Maybe I didn't frame my question well. In the CRS tool there is an option for work experience in Canada and says some thing like NOC, so I was asking if someone who hasn't worked in Canada before can claI'm points under that section.
I read the first few pages but I think it relates more to the process prior to now I might be wrong. Thanks

Yes - you can be eligible even though your score is less than 400 - the issue is that you are not eligible for Ontario PNP (because they require a minimum of 400).
As at today, the CRS score has dropped to 415...have you considered other ways of boosting your CRS score...perhaps retaking your IELTS? This is the time to cash into the rapid drop of CRS scores - please make hay while the sun shines.

Yes, someone without Canadian work experience can still apply for FSWP. The NOC is to be able to match your Nigerian work experience with an equivalent Canadian occupation classification. I'll suggest you start reading this thread from page (0). It will help you understand the process better. Yes. I intend to retake the ielts. My current score is 8.5 reading 7 speaking 7 writing and 7. 5 listening. I guess that will help too. Cheers

All the best!
very helpful. I will do just what u said. Thanks a lot .

Congratulations to the newly called. It just occured to me that at 421 CRS, you don't even need a single day of work experience. If you are under 30 years old, single and can MAX your IELTS...this is your score below. grin grin grin

Comprehensive Ranking System formula

Subtotal Core/Human capital + Spouse factors + Skill transferability = 431

Additional points = 0

Grand total = 431

Your case was indeed different cheesy

How long did it take for you to get to "medicals passed"?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Demo213: 6:39pm On Apr 19, 2017
Good. However, at least 1 year work experience is prerequisite to be eligible.

Congrats to our new ITA recipients.

Congrats to all those who got ITA's

Please start gathering your documents because the 90 days comes so fast, if your points are not high and can't afford to decline, start now.
1) Book for medicals 1st thing tomorrow morning
2) Start processing your police reports
3) Get your finances in order

Please this is for a friend , she needs to withdraw her profile and create a new one, because her update is not going through since last week. How does she deactivate her Job Bank registration

You don't need to deactivate your job bank profile, once the new profile is created, just long into your job bank account and link it to your new profile.

Can't remember how i did it, but it can be done

Today's draw is 415.....no one ever believed it would get here.
Let us all Keep d hope high, it may even fall as low as 350.... grin ...all na wishes and maybe beggars may just have a jolly ride. grin grin

Bolded is a major requirement in most of the PR programs though. So please let's not be carried away by the low scores for ITA (it is only an invitation). We must meet the requirements under the program you got an ITA for. FSW, CEC etc.

This is not to scare anyone. It is just a fact oo!

"2 days"? Wow! shocked

Please, don't mind my asking the question in a different way: what was the duration (in days) between the time that you did the medical tests and

(1) date that you submitted your application?

(2) the actual date that your profile changed to "medicals passed" on e-APR?

I have been made to understand that each application is unique but I am trying to understand your timeline. Kindly indulge me wink
