Infinix Mobility will launch the 2nd generation of its S Series, the Infinix S2 aka the #WefieMaster, on the 24th of April, 2017. The Wefie Master will be the second phone after Vivo V5 Plus to feature a dual front facing camera. The dual front facing camera will bring about a wider angle selfie and it is equipped with a single LED flash for low light wefie. The Infinix S2 has a 5.2-inch Screen with a 720*1280 pixels resolution. Its screen is a 2.5D curved glass equipped with a Dragontrail protection.

The Infinix s2 runs on Infinix’s custom interface, the XOS UI which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow but hopefully before the year runs out, the phone will be updated to Android N like its predecessor, the Note 3. It is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core processor and 3000mAh battery capacity with a quick charge feature. For a mid-range smartphone, the 3GB RAM and a 32GB internal memory which is expandable via SD card up to 128GB seem cool. It has a dual SIM hybrid smartphone with 4G LTE support for ultra-fast browsing experience. Like its predecessor, it comes with a fingerprint sensor amongst many other sensors.

The Focus point:
The device is tagged the Wefie Master because it has the ability to accommodate more people in a single selfie. WEFIE means “Group Selfie.” It is a photographic portrait taken in the same position as selfie but with a wefie camera i.e Dual Camera which captures more people in a shot. The 13MP camera at the front of the S2 takes a normal selfie while the second 8MP camera is for wider angle selfie.
