You are fool Mr man, are you trying to defend your company AfriOne that made your reasoning seem like a jss1 student?

Manufacture:
1. make (something) on a large scale using machinery.
2. invent (evidence or a story).
3. To create goods from raw material, e.g. in a factory.

Assembly: the action of fitting together the component parts of a machine or other object.

It is rather unfortunate that you have refused to learn. I wont go further because you are obviously untrainable. I teach reasonable and intelligent people who are ready to learn. By God's grace, I have successfully imparted engineering knowledge into numerous graduates over the years. I know your type. Never do wells, low life, lazy, lousy and noisy empty barrels that come late to class, copy assignments and beg to write make up examinations at the end of every semester. Do yourself a favour. Sit down for five minutes and do a Google Search on "manufacturing".

Nigerian first smart phone assembly not manufacturer, all the components were manufactured outside the country.. even the plastic cover is not here..

Most big phone brands you know are not OEMs, too many patented technology and components to be put together to make an average phone, where them wan start the manufacturing from?

There is ZERO difference between manufacturing and assembly. They both mean the exact same thing. It is only in Nigeria that ill-exposed people like you make a distinction between the two. No manufacturer builds their own components, whether it is for vehicles or phones. Manufacturing is a process of gathering components from various sources and assembling them into a finished product.

True, Intel Corp certainly don't make smartphone's but their microprocessors are top notch and used by nearly every electronic device.

Well, if it's all you want, you get right to your opinion.
..and you actually have a point too
But remember profit motive is their guiding principle, don't be surprised it might be cheaper to manufacture quality plastic covers outside that here

Oga there is a big difference between manufacture and assembly. Manufacture is immediately after invention which involves a lot of critical thinking. Assembly is simply putting the pieces of the finished product together. Dont fool yourself.
name one phone company, just one that actually "manufacture phone not assemble?

You people have come up with this trash argument again.....how many industry located in Lagos or Ogun are owned by the Yoruba's...
You claim 55% , meanwhile..your region suffers the most hunger and poverty in the country right now....
Osun state have establish IDP camp for hungry pensioners and civil servant...
Ekiti state have resorted to sharing 2 spoon of rice on the street to curtail hunger...
Ogun state have made ritual killing their vocation, just to curtail hunger,.. indigenes are killing for just 4k...
Oyo state na no go area..,that one is poor and filled with ugly Muslim poverty people from day one..
Ondo state have made protesting for their pay their watch word and action....
Lagos is excempted , just for the saka of the strangers there....

In terms of education..... SE and SS have left you guys behind, you are struggling with the north.....
Go check the last report from waec and jamb.Even the first black professor and VC of university of Ibadan is an Igbo man...

In intellectual, afonjas are still bragging around
Soyinka....meanwhile the Igbo's have produced
China Achebe, choke obi and chimamanda adiche...

In housing and city built up.....SE and SS are filled up with mansions and duplex... while your afonja regions are still living under their brown roof dilapidated buildings without toilet and bathroom...

In civilization.....
Your people, still go to toilet without tissue papers.....
your people prefer poking in the bush....
Your people prefer taking concontion and local herbs instead of English drugs when sick.
your people still eat with bear hands and eat like animals also...
Your people are local and dress locally even when they are in the city...Ibadan, Oshogbo, akure, ekiti,Ogun and even in Lagos....
Your people still draw tribal mark which make them look like monsters and very ugly...

I can go on and on....
For your information, this are verifiable facts.. and not the trash you keep saying...
