We see cars driving the streets of Nigeria with UK and US plates too so the reverse should be possible. I guess they give a maximum time allowed to get new plates. But it's still strange, did he/she export the car from Nigeria to UK?
yes!
Lot of tourist do that, u can travel with your car to any country and u can drive around with car for a period of time given by the country's govt.

There are better places like that in nigeria, when seen on pics wont look like naija
Like the guy said, that is a car dealer stand in owerri, that means he know the place very well,
Car parks in uk have marks
I dont see anything special about the environment there
The bolded is quite amusing, so because it's the almighty UK, so therefore all parking lots must be marked?.. Okay.

Yes, but the reason Nigerians export car to UK is to park dollars. Just park dollars inside the car and export it, if custom oyibo open am, give am one bundle. Thos pple dey collect bribe pass Nigeria sef.

This can only be a scene if the car was spotted in motion on the streets of UK,then one can wonder what warrants you need to drive a 9ja plate now in UK but as its spotted in a car park, its not strange cos the new Nigeria plate now is assigned to whoever registers it,and when you sell a car it is registered with it is ur right to remove it as all offence committed with the nos will be traced to you
I have 3 of the plate nos from cars I sold
I can decide to take one to UK and fix in a car just to snap for peeps to see my plate No's actually went with me to UK
it only becomes a crime when I drive the car on the roads

Its all about cost factor. i cant say where the picture was taken but its no big deal to ship a car from Nigeria to the UK. It will cost less than $1k.

We don't know what the owner do for a living. A diplomat should have no problem to ship his/her car either direction.

If he will be visiting the UK for several months and deemed it cost effective to bring his car along, why not? He won't have to pay duty if he will ship out the car at the end of his stay. Most developed country have that kind of program.

It no different from driving from France or Belgium to the UK.

I have shipped a car from the US to the UK for modification and then to Nigeria. All they collect was less than $500 in duty. Things are very controlled that you cant even register it even if you plan to. You can only bring in and out. That's it.

And you can drive it and take it with you when you leave. If he stays 2 -3 months, it's still more cost effective than getting another car, registration, insurance and disposing at the end of his stay.

Lots of people cannot get over the Nigerian plate. It could be any plate. Belgium, France, Netherlands etc

Nothing to see here.
