We do not remember being asked if we choose to be Christians by Christian parents, neither did our muslims parents asked us if we choose to be muslims. They said they knew what was good for us, so they made us embrace their religion, just like their parents made them embrace and so on and so forth. Parents always believe they know better, And we all know how wrong such generalizations are especially for those that got a little more education in 21st century and dare to question why they should interfere in a fight against Jehovah and Satan or Allah and Satan or Idol and Jesus.

The fact that you are thinking this way shows you are on your way out of illusion. Parents love the idea of God, and they believe the only place they can connect to God is through the Pastors, Churches, Imams, Mosques. Little do they know that God....no longer dwells up there, He used to, when Earth was on 3rd Dimension. Since 2012, Earth's frequency and vibration has crossed into the 4D and humans who are 3D are currently harvested through wars and suicides and other ills. Only those who know that 4D welcomed God into the core of Man, the temple of God, will survive the times. No one really needs religion, as you can do everything, heal and manifest your desires faster instead of an idea of a Sky Daddy, Man, has become one with God.

See christianity as a social engagement. Enage in all activities as much as you can but live right and live free. That is what I try to do as a deist.
I mean you must have a religious affinity in a society like ours to save yourself from unnecessary headache.

A time will come when social communities and organisations will be set up by non-religious people and unbelievers. Associations like Singles Association of Nigeria(SAN) where atheists and non-religious people can meet themselves physically and get married to themselves; Community of Nigerian Thinkers, etc. Buildings shall be raised in different places for such purposes and people can meet, socialise and date through such organisations and associations. You don't have to choose...just become enlightened by reading verifiable materials and break free of religion. Don't tell them yet until you can cogently explain your position to even a 5 year old. Yes, you are right in your own knowledge of truth, your truth. What becomes your truth is a result of years of constant programming, if this programming is right or wrong is a different kettle of fish. The Mind is a processor and our thoughts are the input devices. Our teachers, parents, pastors, Imams, Shamans, siblings, friends and even the enemies and critics are our programmers. How we rationalize the ideas before accepting them to become part of our reality defines the quality of truths, our version of the truth. But is your Truth, the Universal Truth ? Or is your truth, just relative to the absolute truth ?

Ponder on these wise words of mine and stay hungry, for new frontiers ofcourse. Nothing is fixed in your mind, except you fix them, that is the birth of dogma. Something the wise have learnt to avoid.

MOST christians are not Christians because they find the bible so interesting or because they've found complete harmony in the scriptures etc... some Christians are Christians because of indoctrination.... these types are the ones who are usually dogmatic... some others are Christians because they expect something from God... more like a “serve me and I'll give you this" situation... also, some are Christians because of their hunger for miracles.. this type is common in Nigeria... these ones I've listed are more prone to losing their religion when they either get disappointed or when their indoctrination wears off... some are Christians because they found something in Christianity... some saw warmth.. some saw purpose... some saw love... some saw power.. although it all depends on denomination.. people feel Christians are Christians because they made sense of all the scriptures in the bible... no... in fact... some Christians don't know many things about the bible... I'm not a Christian today because i found the bible “complete" or i made sense of everything there... not everything makes sense... not everything has to... although i now know more about the Bible than many Christians and even some atheists... everyone has their reasons for being Christian... my parents were not Christians even Christians when i was born... my dad isn't a Christan till today... so i have my reasons... we all have our different stories

"Other faith" is hardly a problem unless you're a deep pagan

"No Faith" however is almost always a very massive problem
