have u sat down to do some calculation? Shipping that camry from US is about $1000- $1200. That is about 380k - 456k. Custom clearing agents collect up to 300k for that vehicle. That is 756k. Do you think they picked that car free on the road in US? Now factor in the purchasing cost of the car and see its very close to 1m. Dealers don't even like selling such cars cos it doesn't give them profit. Please before u open such threads, try and do some research. If u can get it cheaper elsewhere, I don't think u will come here complaining about nairaland. Dealers. FYI, I'm not a dealer. But I get my cars myself from US. So I know.

If you really want to buy a car go to AuctionExport, look for the car. They will give you quote for trucking and shipping down to Nigeria.

You clear yourself.

Then come back here and post again.

again u will fail to read and comprehend. I told u in my earlier comment that I'm not a dealer. But here u are using "u people". Then again your assertion about new camry from Japan is a lie. Has ur Dad converted from right hand drive to left hand drive? Do you even know how much new cars cost from Toyota dealerships. Go and price brand new 2016 camry and see if u will get it less than 30m naira. Go and do research and stop being emotional and putting up lies.

To further buttress your lies, this is a 2012 Toyota camry in Japan. Note it's not brand new. It's fairly used. The price is about 18000 US dollars. Exclusive of shipping and clearing. Convert it to naira. Talk more of a 2014 u claim is brand new. Stop being emotional and propping up lies.

you are a kid. I think you should concentrate more on your studies. You lack basic comprehension. Out of thread.

Note this ; On forum such as Nairaland, not everyone you argue with. I f you're compelled to in any way, first look at the mannerisms and composition of the person you want to have a discourse with. The person's level of exposure, most times would reflect from their way of writing. You can easily sense a kid from their unnecessary and meaningless abbreviations. I am not a dealer either, however I could really reason with all you wrote. The OP actually has got valid point as well from the angle of the cars in question being Nigeria Used and not Tokunbo. But one would have expected him to ease off after your analysis for the cost of bringing in a vehicle which is what everyone could easily relate with if you're not an uneducated kid,Dealer or no dealer.

This issue has been overflogged, and apart from the few sensible comments above, I'm pleased to inform you dear OP, that there's NOTHING you can do about this development.

Let's even forget about high dollar or clearing rates. Welcome to capitalism where you CANNOT dictate to anyone how much he should sell his goods or services. Even the government can't dictate or regulate this. If I decide to sell 1996 accord for 10m it's actually my problem, not yours. So please, rest.

Its so clear that the OP can't afford a bicycle.
