While a CEO of an organization of a similar size could expect to make a salary of multiple millions of dollars annually, the Pope does not in fact receive a salary - at least not while he’s still alive. The pope is the life president of a country. It is not about what he earns. The entire Wealth and Assets of the Vatican city are under his control until he dies. The pope is rich anyone, who tries to argue otherwise is just being economical with the truth
