Re: Let's Talk About Animals On Our Planet(Photos). by Audrinakane(f): 9:54pm On Apr 23, 2017 |
Mightyraw: Dragons so far are myths but skeletons and footprints of dinosaurs have been found. Although they have gone into extinction, it is believed they existed during or before the time of Cleopatra of Egypt. They were before Christ. Although science with carbon dating have not placed a specific time of their existence. |

This is the gruesome moment a huge crocodile devoured a gazelle with one bite in a savage river ambush. The predator launched the brutal attack after the unsuspecting animal followed its family into a river in Kenya. Lalasticlala 2 Likes

petux: Yes, NatGeowild or nature photographers can spend days or weeks at a particular spot to capture some of these images. Pictured, it took Alan McFadyen 6 years, 4,200 hours and 720,000 shots to get this. http://www.boredpanda.com/perfect-kingfisher-dive-photo-wildlife-photography-alan-mcfadyen/ 5 Likes 1 Share

Thanks for the educative and interesting threads. I always follow ur threads. There is an argument in one thread currently on,although it isnt ur thread but I want ur opinion. The thread is about crocodiles, alligators and monitors. The OP used google as evidence that alligators are only found in America and china in the whole world. I also confirmed it in google. But in reality,I found it to be a big lie!!! I stay in Benin city. There are lots of alligators in our local markets here which were never imported from America or China. I even went to various markets and took picture evidence. But some were still adamant all because '' google said no alligators in Africa''. Below are some of my pics. Please I want ur opinion. Thanks 2 Likes

oz4real83: Though ive not seen any, but alligators and crocodiles are commonly confused with one another, and the words are often used interchangeably. Although they look similar, there are a few key physical characteristics that can help you easily distinguish between crocodiles and alligators. Differentiating between the two is the problem. Alligators live only in the southeastern USA and eastern China, whereas crocodiles can be found right across the world in Africa, Australia, Southeast Asia, North America, South America and Central America. If you are in the USA, then you are far more likely to encounter an alligator than a crocodile. But U.S is the only country having both. Pictured, U shaped is the Alligator and V shaped is crocodile. http://m.wikihow.com/Tell-the-Difference-Between-a-Crocodile-and-an-Alligator https://owlcation.com/stem/Whats-the-difference-between-alligators-and-crocodiles?_e_pi_=7%2CPAGE_ID10%2C5244721199 2 Likes
