Ersan:Wrong pronounciation by the Hausa's and other tribes who came to do business with us back then. Due to repeated use, it stuck but is gradually been corrected. |

Ersan:Pronounce TIV and Tivi. TIV is one syllable while Tivi is two. As per your example, its wrong spelling and cant be noticed when pronouncing both words. |
