The Senate should not have invited him for investigation while a concurrent investigative panel had been set up by the President.
They should have at least waited for the Presidential panel to conclude their own investigation,before inviting him again.

What do you expect from the ad hoc committee to investigate him again, he is already an enemy to them and you want him to honour the invites, they will definitely nail him harder. Ina democracy the Legislature is not subservient to the Executive. They can run their own programs completely independently. Colonialism is so, so hard a drug to quit.
