He MUST have it under duress. Looooool.

He will contest remotely, and carry out his campaigning activities from home.

Don't count it out you know. Unlike you, I see different possibilities. You are still suffering from PSTD. #LOL

With the look of things, Buhari will finish his first tenure and give complete support to Osinbajo to run in 2019.
Whoever that's close to Buhari knows that he his not too power intoxicated but he like and admire loyalty a lot in which he had already see in Osinbajo. Buhari and his wife are more comfortable with Osinbajo, that's why you can see that his on top of the presidency decision.
My main concern is the choice of VP candidate which might goes in-between Tanbowa and Nuhu Ribadu.
Tanbowa may be castigated by the sw leaders for the role he play during the speaker election which favour Dogara but with his explanation and excuse, any right thinking person will not really blame him for his action. Aside of sentiment, Dogara is more love by his colleague than Gbajabiamila.
More so Tanbowa still have second tenure to enjoy as governor which his more juicy than be a VP.
Ridabu may be the best candidate for the VP slot, if you look at the recent event, Ribadu as been following Tinubu around to seek for favour from him.

What if he gets better? A theory I have is that President Buhari might be conserving his energy for such a campaign run.

Buhari

Even if he likes let him campaign on a wheel chair. He MUST have his 8 years. No b presidency he want, he don get am. Let him continue. Let the North have their 8 uninterrupted years.

What people talking about replacing Buhari in 2019 don't know is that unless he runs or explicitly anoints another person to replace him, the country would be ungovernable for whoever tries to meander to that seat. Fulani herdsmen would replace BH as the most deadliest terrorist group in the world. All these recent killings in Benue, Plateau, Zamfara, Delta, Enugu... na testing.

The number of deaths will make 2011 post-election violence seem like child's play.

If you want to remove Buhari, wait until 2023.

2015 elections was a contract for 8 years. If you don't like the contract, Kuje is open for you to rest in.

As far as I'm concerned he should rule from the other-room if he likes or just go on vacation in London until late 2018.

-Lord[/s]
Rubbish!!! You think we are afraid of any of you herdsmen making the country ungovernable? You guy were lucky Jonathan was weak! If a hardened person like me become the President, you people should try that rubbish and see if I will not arm southerners and let the country explode!!! No section of the country has monopoly of violence!!! kiss

I will contest as an independent candidate.

Standby for my manifesto. It will clearly define what I term "major challenges" and how my government will tackle them. The minor challenges will receive a progressive and continued changes as needed.

It is time to take back Nigeria, with our POTENTIAL we are already GREAT. Join me in this journey to take back Nigeria!

Say yes to Concrete, Positive, and Continued Change.

Say yes to Comrade Odunze for President!

The Future of Nigeria is TODAY.

Atiku Abubarkar will contest, again. He will most likely try to woo some SE governors as running mate; I doubt the acceptibility of Atiku though. He can't deliver votes from NW except he gets the blessing and support of other prominent northerners.

Kwankwaso will contest; 1.3Mil votes from Kano + other NC states no be beans. His choice of running mate may determine how far he will go.

Rochas will come out to make noise as usual but his noise won't take him further than APC primaries.

If PDP can put their house in order before the election, they may pose as a strong opposition/alternative. Unfortunately, that looks far from happening.

good analysis

Are there no worthy persons apart from these old names fit to rule our nation? Enough recycling of candidates who must spend 8years achieving very little or nothing for the whole nation.

I honestly don't want Baba to run again, age is no longer on his side, and so is the downside of longevity as it relates to health.

Osinbajo is learning quite fast and has proven himself a man of great honour and morals. If the party wills it, I wouldn't blink twice before casting my vote for him.

Wouldn't mind seeing someone like Ribadu as well, but I fear his inexperience would get the best of him in such an office. An Osinbajo/Ribadu ticket would sell like hot agege bread I believe.

Another person I could easily support is Ken Nnamani. Dude has shown he can't easily be intimidated or swayed by money, otherwise Obj might still be the president today.

Tinubu would best concentrate on making Kings rather than trying to be one himself, because that would only diminish his larger than life personality.

GBAM!

I like Atiku presidential appearance but he is a NO NO for me.
I would love to see an Osibanjo/ Kwakwanso duo for 2019 presidential race that is if our presidio buhari is still alive or better still alive and don't want to run.

Nigerians and their mumu no get rival. Just like excitable teenage girls gathered round the late evening fire pot dreaming about Prince Charming instead of burning the midnight oil in a quest to develop to become irresistable worthy brides. Thus they oft end up in the kitchens and warming the beds of oafs and baboons.

The question Nigerians should ask themselves is: how qualified, educated, informed am I about the workings of democracy, Nigeria's version of it and how it can be a tool to meet their individual and collective aspirations. For it is only when someone knows how a thing works that he can bravely quest for the right person to work it. So it is not Ade the bricklayer or Uche the blacksmith or Usman the carpenter when in truth you want to build an igloo in Lapland.

Get to know the task at hand first, get to know how Nigeria can be made to work, get to know the competencies of the aspirators before trying to match them. And not just their faces or colourful backgrounds or else we risk ending up once again with picking the bad out of the worst as we always seem to.

The only hope S/eastener's have of presiding over this country is if pmb completes his 8yr term alive. If anything untoward happens and osibanjo takes over, the Yoruba's will keep it for 8yrs (use the opportunity to fortify their territory economically) and will definitely hand over to the north afterwards. My SE brothers let us be wise. Let us all pray for pmb, he is not doing badly. Things have to be like this now for us to enjoy in future. Everybody is against him because tough decisions are being taken, looters are being prevented from doing what they know best. It does not cost pmb anything to open the national treasury and throw dollars around, open the border for all manner of things to come in. In the long run, the country will suffer it. Let's have faith in Nigeria, things can only get better.
