But he was granted bail


And when he was granted bail

They yelled and screamed and wrote Long epistles saying there was no way he would meet the bail conditions but now it has happened.

Nnamdi KANU has fulfilled his bail conditions.

I think the condition of not being in a gathering of more than 10 person is not going to work. Under the constitution Kanu like everybody else has the right to religion worship. Arresting him for that is a complete violation of his right and I am sure that won't settle with the government on international scene. Lawyers in the house can you guys please explain how this condition may play out with regards to his freedom to religion association to a layman like me.

Congratulations to him on meeting his bail conditions. When he gets released, he needs to evaluate his struggle, especially his methodology. Breaking up a country is more than denigrating other ethnic groups. The Southeast cannot do it all alone; it will never happen. Ojukwu made this same mistake with his flippant attitude towards the minority tribes in the then Eastern Region. It is time he met with leaders of thoughts in the South-South and sought an alliance with them. Maybe Nigerians will pay more attention to his struggle when both regions begin to clamour for an independent country. But, the truth be told, an elephant would fly before this country disintegrates. I have tried to imagine how it would happen, I just couldn't do so.
