As we all know Nigeria is no longer an easy place to live. Am about to obtain my schengen visa to travel abroad for greener pasture. this visa permit me to enter about 25 European countries. I will be entering through Greece but I don't hope to reside there. so I want to know which European country that hustlers have more chances to succeed. your advice will be highly appreciated. thanks as you contribute to help a fellow nairaland to achieve his dream.

Yeah when I saw "Am about to obtain......", I was like "what's the rush? you never get visa sef, get the visa and open a thread and we would help you". I wish the OP well but he should not try to put the cart before the horse.

Personally i think Germany once your visa runs out just become aduro .Then hustle to find An EU citizen(Non German) to marry or get a job(not black job).

Anyway, just to let you know that France is not a place to go for an English-speaking Nigerian. As I have said, I know I have responded to a topic like this in the past, so look around.

Anyone can apply to join, but the FFL have the prerogative in deciding who they will take. If you are lucky to be among those chosen, you will sign a 5-year contract, be paid well, and be a french citizen after 5 years of serving. However, there is a friend of mine who went to Germany a few years ago on a schengen visa, he claimed asylum and was refused, but he was lucky to meet a German lady. They got married and he has 2 kids with her already. He has just recently acquired German citizenship and he is building a duplex somewhere in eastern Nigeria. He was just lucky, there are droves of people still living illegally in Europe for years.

Most of them are ex-cons desperate to escape the past. The ones that join out of ignorance often escape after a while. Easy to do because they usually join with fake names. I don`t think it`s something that would appeal to an average Nigerian, notwithstanding the state of our nation.

Exactly the point I made in a separate thread. The average Nigerian would rather live in Europe illegally or engage in a sham marriage, than explore the FFL. I only know of one Nigerian who joined, he is still with them after 5 years because he is starting to enjoy being french, a regular income, and travelling the world for free.
