Good people of Nairaland. Pls how can I go bout learning these two languages and speak fluently at the maximum of four years. Are there books, online programs, apps and other means that u know of, that can help me achieve my aim? Wanna start with Hausa then Igbo. But I will go with whatever comes my way first. Thank you.

I know a few words of Igbo but I doubt if any none Igbo could easily learn that language The aggression with which the language is spoken no be for here o Yes, they are gonna attack me now . i dont really believe any language is hard or easy,it depends on the zeal of the learner,i know an Igbo guy who learnt spanish in six months,does it means spanish is easy?
I have been hearing how easy Hausa is,i tried learning it still cant get one sentence right for a very long time now

i also know a full blooded yoruba guy born and raised in lagos who speaks Igbo fluently,he has never been outside his whole life

pls stop discouraging anybody,that it is hard for you dosen't mean it would be same for another

Igbo is one tough language though. The intonation alone's off-putting for an outsider.
