Lol, because they ARE washed. Kennis failed to realize that the Nigerian music scene was changing with the proliferation of other record well-funded record labels and artistes owning record labels. Also, they failed to properly "scout" the kind of talent that would catch the minds and fancy of Nigerians. Instead, they kept on pushing Jaywon, Essence and resigned an Eedris Abdulkarim whose career as a rapper was long over. Why do you think Mavin and other contemporary record labels keep looking for and signing new acts? It's because they know that the music scene keeps changing and they needed to stay current with those that could perform contemporary music. Running a record label is kind of like running a football club - you need to keep signing fresh, young talent to stay competitive instead of throwing money at people who are past their sell-by date. Kennis failed to move with the times and they were consequently left waaaay behind.

Lol.... Debbie rise is still the best artist in d house, she has the energy, the passion, and skill... She can dance.... Bisola can sing but ha style no go sell.... Debbie rise go sell home and away all she needs is the connect.

Hmmmm! I think your are right. They probably need to employ new management team I mean young individuals that can help move the label forward. I mean dope producers and dope artiste scouts. Their are too many hungry talent musicians out their. Kenny Ogungbe seems like he's getting too old to compete with these young folks when it comes to operating a record label.



I heard Jaywon has left the label years back. Their major artiste currently is joe-el. If you ask me I think he's the worst artiste they have ever signed. Not that he's not good but hes music is not just accepted
