Airtel-Etisalat-Glo-Mtn-Ntel-Smile-Spectranet-Swift?


Despite the fact that most telcos in Nigeria are now offering various bands of 4G networks,the prices of data/data caps and connections are still nothing to write home about.
To me, they are not responding to the consumer demands,rather they are taking their customers for granted,at least when it comes to data networks.
Some would say it depends on the area which to me is not an excuse.
But still,I might be wrong.
Who do you think is offering the best services among the Telcos in terms of the following and state your reason/s?

1-Data connection availability and reliability-i.e is the connection there when and where we want it?

2-Network Download/Upload Speed-i.e Making and keeping a connection is one thing,but the actual speed of the connection is another entirely.

3-Performance relative to Cost-more data less price

etisalat is still the best.. Very fast but their data plans are highly expensive

Airtel download is cool, I do get up to 2Mb/s on 3G. but MTN is more reliable at my location.

MTN data subscriptions in my zone is like sacrificing your money.

Glo is fraudulent... You never get to use the data till expiration. Oops I forgot... Glo brought a 4G mast less than 500meters from my apartment... But guess what? The Glo 4G and my phone's​ 4G don't speak the same language.

Etisalat non existent.

Airtel works occasionally but more consistently... However the data volumes​ are dubious.

My WiFi works whenever it's inspired to by the gods.
But MTN and Airtel outside Nigeria are super fast... What's wrong with the Nigerian​ network providers.

Mtn is the best - because their network is available everywhere you go

Glo, although not 100% reliable. You get charged for what u use. Others are data zappers

You are right and nothing beats it. You get the network in the most inner part of the town.
Only airtel has 3G network in my village. That's. Plus.

It depends on location... In my area I'll tell you glo but some other person will say MTN or etisalat. The area determines alot

Mtn doesn't allow hotspot on my iPhone 6S. This is crazy.

I hate those south African modafucker,, but u can't help giving it to mtn... coz it's almost every whr u go.
glo una dey Bleep up majorly... find way enlarge una coverage, give more quality service, make person no get 20gb, use just 200mb....

if una fix all those ish, b4 una know,!, una go just seize the whole market.

Glo has almost the same rate with mtn now. The previous bundles have been halved for the same rate. Dial *777# to confirm.

here in the ancient city of Benin where the king is truely king we hate Glo with passion because injured snail is faster than Glo.
and for those intending to subscribe to Glo because it is cheap be careful not to commit suicide after subscribing because if they frustrate you then you might commit one. the only area that is manageable is when you are within Uniben/ ugbowo. apart from that all other area in Edo state are not good for Glo users
we use airtel any day any time. 1500 naira can give you 3gig bb plan and it is usable on all device or rather go for 1000 naira for 1.5gigg
Etisalat is the fastest though. but have never tried empty hen because I dislike empty hen with passion they are like devil, they give you with one hand and collect back from you with double hands.
this is my ogologo marky(opinion) based on logistics, reasoning and experience about our network providers. OK make I go play football like this so. thank God it is Saturday.

I prefer Glo cos I get more data for less! 3.2GB for N1000. though the network isn't always steady especially when I'm in lag! but here in ugbowo-Benin city, it's not bad.

Glo but they need to work on their network coverage. They have the largest data subscribers but keeping these customers has been difficult due to their erratic network atimes. I still prefer them over those xenophobic Money Taking Network(MTN)

Airtel Blackberry 3Gb for 1.5k for me the best...now wey all of them dey discriminate BB

Mtn. Its fast and u can get 3gb for 1k........if you're on pulse

For me, Airtel is the best, reason is this, their 3G gives me the same quality both in Abuja and my village.

Glo network is so annoying, I'm switching to airtel.

The best is relative and is determined by a lot of factors. For instance I consider fastness as ny major determinant. I also noticed that no network can claim to be the fastest in Nigeria given that coverage variea with cities.

Here in Enugu, Etisalat is the fastest averagely. But if you go to some remote locations like UNTH hospital, Airtel seems to be the fastness

Now, given that I consider speed first, I would always go for e.g 1 gb fast data at 5k than 1 gb slow data at 100 naira.
