Mophasa:There is nothing distinguished about Shehu Sani. He is a big hypocrite like Ben Bruce with his empty common sense rants. I thought these men wud advocate sweeping changes but they ve shown they are all these with the other rogues. 1. No nation can ever survive with 75% of its budget on recurrent expenditure & 25% om capital. It is madness. Shehu Sani doesnt think their bogus allowances of NASS members should be reduced drastically. Recall that former CBN governor Sanusi said 25% of d budget is on national assembly alone. It is the same we see all over this doomed nation even the paltry 25% wud still end up being embezzled. 2. National assembly has no business with financing project rather law making is their business but sadly with the "constituency project allowance" which they never account for but embezzle as u can see that the infrastructure in their constituencies is still not developed. Was it not Shehu Sani that donated camels and radios as part of his constituency. He has been receiving since constituency allowance his constituents deserves to know how it is used 3. What bills that wud really advance people's welfare has he advocates for. For example laws to punish with severity corruption and not mere 2 years, cuts in running govt, removal of security votes to state governors which is never accounted, publicize their allowances, account for the so called constituency project allowance. 4 The national assembly arr known to always blame the federal government as if they are part or arm of the government. 5. They get funds as well to finance projects so the blame for infrastructural deficits should not be blamed on the executive alone. 6. He knows corruption has arrested Nigeria's development, what laws have been enacted so that the goats eating our yams are speedily tried and convicted instead of d numerous loopholes that keeps fustrating EFCC from doing their jobs that the goats use to fustrate any meaningful fight against corruption 7. If he has nothing to fear why was he against Magu's confirmation? If it is because if DSS report then while does he not tell Saraki a born thief that ruined bank and made depositors poor, embezzled Kwara state money not face his trial at d Code of Conduct tribunal rather than telling d executive to drop d case against Saraki as a condition to make peace with d executive? Bro dont let them fool u talk is cheap. He is like all of them. His constituents deserves more than radio and camels https://www.google.no/amp/www.premiumtimesng.com/regional/nwest/186807-ramadan-kaduna-senator-shehu-sani-distributes-camels-to-constituents.html/amp |

Nigeriadondie:What a long epistle But you will agree with me that Nigerian civil servants deserve an increment in their minimum wage The cost of living is just so freaking high By the way, senator shehu Sani is a distinguished senator and a gentle man, he is also a rational thinker and we are vouching for him to be the next governor of kaduna state. |

Deborahj:True that, 150k is unrealistic at the moment considering how much the country earns in revenues. Benue for example would go bankrupt if minimum wage went up to twice the current pay, as paying salaries is a serious issue right now. Saying that we are rich is living in fairy land. At least considering our population. |

In addition, the salaries of legislators and members of the executive should be slashed by at least 50 percent nationwide. This will free up a lot of funds to pay civil servants. Also the security votes of the President and the Governors should be slashed by at least 80 percent. The security votes are a huge camouflage for the entrenchment of corruption and high handedness by government officials especially the executive in the country. The outrageous funds allocated to the executive by the constitution or whatever law are a colossal waste of our national resources. And the wicked and unfortunate part is that they are extra budgetary expenses totally unaccounted for by the various office holders! That would be the real CHANGE! But the problem is whether Buhari and his APC goons mean well for our country in the first place. I am afraid they don't, judging from their actions so far. The crux of the matter is that the minimum wage just has to be increased before October or else many civil servants would start dropping dead one by one. I don talk my own sha, oya Bubu over to you and your government! |
