I have a sister who studied aboard, and she's not ready to come back to Nigeria. She feels NYSC is a waste of time. Is there any implication of not doing NYSC?

PLS I NEED ANSWERS ASAP

Is there anything not doing it may cause? Will she be able to work in Nigeria later in future if she decide to settle down in Nigeria?

If she plans to work in Nigeria as Nigerian, it prolly is. On the other hand, I think NYSC allows for some people eg, pregnant women, over age people etc to skip it. They give an exemption letter to show.

The only reason people decide to do Nysc is just because of that discharge certificate or exempted letter in which your employer must request from you in any job you apply for!

The issue is she's still within the age bracket for NYSC presently, but she's not ready to come back to Nigeria to do it now. Even if she will consider coming back, it will be like in the next seven to ten years, and she would have exceeded the age for NYSC. Hope she won't be affected in a negative way then, if she considered seeking for employment then

Once you graduate at the right age (≤30) , you won't be exempted on age grounds even at 70. You are only postponing your NYSC. (https://mobile.twitter.com/nysc_ng/status/606797947339198466?p=v)
