An emabssy in not a company and as such those rules dont apply. an embassy is seen as part of the country it represents only naija laws apply withing the walls of the embassy and to those working in it.

NnamdiiKanu:

I don't like Buhari or how he runs the government which killed this great country in just 1 year

But i tell you what, this is a fake news

You can see or smell a fake news from 500 miles away

You can't own your employees in the USA, you can't just do that

If an employee has a wages complaint, whether it’s for regular pay, overtime wages, or vacation pay, they have the right to contact their state employment agency. This often results in an investigation by the employment agency/federal agencies, and may lead to a lawsuit against the employer or a loss of a business license.

You know what would happen in that case ?? The Nigerian government would be sued, they might lose their license and they would no longer have a Nigerian embassy in Washington DC

I don't think they want that problem

A lot of empty noisemakers again. None payment of salaries to embassy is not new. Happened as far back as 2013: https://www.nairaland.com/1197721/nigerian-embassies-cant-pay-salaries

Even at that, is it PMB's job to ensure the workers are paid? Isn't that the purview of the ministry of foreign affairs??.

Its instructive to note that allegation of mismanagement has been leveled against the ministry, which, incidentally, is headed by. . . . . lipsrsealed

Hope they will blame Jonathan for this, since that's the default mode of this govt. that refuses to take accountability for its actions (failures)
