| What Will Biafra Do Diffrently: The Leadersip Question? by azimibraun(op): 6:09am On May 04, 2017 |
As much as the " Wild" Biafra sees Nigeria as the "Zoo" it is a fact that Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe was the first ingenious of Nigeria post independence. Nigeria ran a regionalized and a parliamentary system of administration. Now the issues: Firstly, What system of administration does Biafra intends to adopt or create; Presidential, Parliamentary or a new leadership indigenous( ecological) model to be created? Secondly, how does the struggle intends to manage Majority/Minority participation in governance and allocation of resources? Thirdly, What plans has the Kanu led Bifran struggle have as it concerns bringing home Bifrans across Nigeria home and resettling them to normal life in such a manner they wont have to wish they never left; in essence what is the guarantee of a better life in Biafra than in Nigeria. Not too many people I guess want to leave Nigeria rich and come to live poor in Biafra. Fourthly, Does Kanu and his Ipob have any economic blueprint for the prosperity of Biafra already drawn; if not why? Those are indicators of a serious pursuit or not. The Fifth question: How does the struggle intends to manage immigration and border control with the "Zoo"? It's critical. Finally for now; will an igbo Man vote an Ijaw,an Agbor, A Bini person or an Urhobo Man or woman as the first president, Prime minister or Chairman of the Biafran republic if so attained? |

You raised an important questions, but I don't think these questions should bother anyone at this stage. We know that actuallizing a country comes in many phases. For now I will say that IPOB is still in pre-1st phase (that's making their intention know publicly). After that comes Referendum (2nd phase). On successful completion of the Referendum, will the issue of constitution, economic plan, Election processes arise (3rd phase). This is my opinion. Op! Which one is Agbor man and Igbo man again? Is there any different between them? |

The Fifth question: How does the struggle intends to manage immigration and border control with the "Zoo"? It's criticalIn case of every secession, there are always transition committees and this won't be different, where issues like border will be handled and clearly mapped out, and whatever agreed by the committee will be binding on the respective countries. After the transition, respective countries have to make their own laws on immigration and border control, but it will always have mind regional laws like that of Ecowas and in our case, as long as you are a member of Ecowas, there should free movement of goods and persons. |

Op whatz your business with what happens in biafra? You have your reply above concerning the blueprint now let me ask you, whats the blueprint of nigeria? Why hasn't every nigerian living in another country returned home since we have a country called nigeria? How is nigeria managing the affairs of nigerians? Did yorubas not vote for buhari because of osinbajo? Please you people can keep on seeing the negatives but we only see the positives that can come out of biafra. Stop drinking panadol for another person's headache. |

OP kindly tell your useless government to ungag Nnamdi Kanu to answer your questions.he has always asked for a debate to outline the plans IPOB has for BIAFRA but your ignoble government decided to trampen on his right to freedom of speech so as to stop him from educating hypocrits like you.i want to tell you one cardinal difference BIAFRA will have over the zoo called Nigeria:in BIAFRA,we shall have meritism as against quota system in Nigeria.my child from Imo will not need to score140 to gain admission while another child from sokoto will need jxt three for the same admission. |

Why Igboland is lacking in development and how it translate to when they are majority Most cities in the world are multi-cultural. In plain terms, outsiders develop a place once conditions are right. The mighty US of A is just a gathering of different nationalities such that a Kenyan is made a President Dubai became what it is when it opened up to the rest of the world. Same with China as most manufacturing companies from the west rely on their plant in China Compared to other lands, Igbos are relatively hostile to outsiders. Certain rights and level playing ground enjoyed in some places like Lagos is not existing especially if you intend to do business in Igboland. A Biafra that would have its capital in the heart of Igboland might end up using Igbo language to conduct government business and later may be seeing giving appointments to other tribes as just doing them a favor. Marginalization would be a pastime I fear for Biafra, I would rather push for a restructured Nigeria because even if Biafra is actualized, the same war of sectionalism will still be on the front burner. You can't really blame them, a typical Igbo man would not just sit back and watch things do them, they would rather "run things". Unfortunately, they are the smartest of all the tribes in Eastern Nigeria and that is their albatross How I wish Biafra was homogeneous in language and culture all the way to the ocean, Biafra would have been the greatest nation on earth. |

ITbomb:I don't understand this being hostile to people of other tribes? The Hausas have their quarters in virtually every city and suburbs of Igboland, and they do their biz, has anyone chased them out? |

azimibraun:While the answers to some of the questions posed above are already in the public domain, it important to note that only free and independent people plan for the future. In other words, freedom and self determination are paramount to all other things. Nigeria will never change, anyone who does not agree is someone who has not yet woken up to the fact that Nigeria is a 'Northern property' If you want change, seek your freedom first |
