as much as i agree I think you will find that most hospitals in nigeria are privately owned, they need money to buy medical equipments, drugs and also pay their staffs, if they treat patients for free they will have no hospital left. besides the government are not very efficient in paying workers for services provided I think security is the problem not hospitals.

what I would like to be abolished is the atitude of not treating the injured until a confirmation from the police that the individual isn't a criminal. a criminal can be arrested and prosecuted after treatment in hospital.

The security cameras in that area should be used to track down the attackers armed robbers, Police or kidnappers. The IG should send send out his squad on this. If anyone wants to move around 3am midnight or 5am or even in the day they should be safe.

the bill will be passed only when there is a system to verify everybody's record and also when there is a law to make sure government pays for absconders. Nonsense.

For instance if a patient has lost so much blood and the blood bank cannot function because no electricity, hospital have no choice but to reject. Any attempt in trying to save the patient without availability of blood is wasted efforts.

Even in the US, hospitals are graded level 1 to level4 trauma centres.if you cannot handle a case,immediately refer to a higher centre,sometimes without even doing any resuscitation measures.

The health care system is bad primarily because of lack of basic government provisions like electricity. Don't blame the hospital or doctors but the government.
