OAU Student Who Retweeted A 'Death' Tweet Dies 5 Days After by Amagite(op): 7:22pm On May 04, 2017

So, on 28th and 29th of April, #50k Challenge became the joke of Twitter Naija after a twitter user, @MohForPresident put up a challenge for 50k to be won.

Several people came up with different funny, positive and even negative things to say so people will avoid liking or retweeting their tweets to enable them win. One of the tweets read; "Pls dont retweet this post if you do so you will die #50kChallenge". An OAU student, Jerry Ashiru retweeted the tweet alongside 15 other people. 5 days after, Jerry is dead....

Jerry also participated in the challenge, saying he needs it for school fees as his school is resuming.

I actually saw smtin similar in my news feed some days back on Facebook. But that one was offering #100 card.
A guy also commented similar response, cursing and swearing to whoever will like the post. Shuo! becos of #100 recharge card?
A guy liked it tho, he was like "am dead already so lemme like it" lol, Lemme go and check if he's dead now. (God forbid Sha)
