Wondering why the APC and the Jigawa state Governor are having sleepless nights over Alhaji Sule Lamido?


This grassroot politician is well loved by his people, a core Obasanjo ally and Former Minister under the former, Lamido is today an institution in Northern Nigeria, it appears the attempt to rubbish his reputation and destroy his political career with draconian bail conditions & persecution has only served to bolster his popularity especially among the neglected and exploited in the North.

It appears the Northern Youths are no more interested in the the imaginary 5000 naira stipend, the 2 million Ghost jobs and other empty promises, hence their switch of allegiance to the leader of the Talakawas ( downtrodden).

This crowd gathered just to escort him from the court home after he was granted bail

Does that mean we are voting for another burukutu drinking mallam from northern Nigeria? I thought Hausa people were our problems. So is the op now campaigning for Lamido - hausa/Fulani that he loves to insult so much? Gej government also threw the books at Lamido and his sons. Don't make it look like APC singling Lamido out.

What surprises me is how some people would want to destabilize him for their selfish gains.

Yes he would love to contest for the office of the President of Nigeria and that frightens many especially the weaklings in the political sphere of the APC and PDP alike

They are just jealous of the man......

he really tried as a governor then. I was in jigawa during his first term administration and in terms of infrastructural facilities, I give kudos to him. his administration paid copers 5k per month.

The governor really goofed, the arrest of Sule Lamido drew sympathy to him but truth be told Sule Lamido is not loved in the entire north may be his state where he has modestly performed as governor.

The person to beat to be president from the north post Buhari is Kwankwaso, mainly due to his performance while he was governor of kano, he is a no nonsense man, he stood with the masses during GEJ maladministration, he is very much loved in kano a state that can almost produce total vote of some region, he is relatively well educated and a dogged politician

To be clear, that is exactly what Buhari and his gang of vote-doublers dont want you to know.

Sule has always been very popular, and because of him, people voted for GEJ in Jigawa, but those votes disappeared and never counted in the overall pool of vote.

So they want the man silenced so that this reality wouldn't play out, but isn't it obvious now?
