was travelling to the north from Lagos...a few kilometres to Jebba, I was pressed and stopped by the bush to ease myself...AC was on, engine running, music playing...I got down and shut the door...next thing I heard was locks clicking!!! boy! I was in for a looooooonng thing.....to cut the story short, I had to pay a local farmer to stay with the car while I went Jebba to fetch the panelbeater who charged my 5k to open the door!!!!

An experienced panel beater will open ANY door, your jaws will drop at how quick he wld open your beloved "German" car door.
Openning the door is very easy the real difficulty is in starting the car without the right key.

Yesterday morning as i was preparing for work. I just finished washing my car i went into the house to get the keys immediately i opened the doors with the remote i drop the keys on the chair. I think i forgot something outside just as i close the door and walked few steps away i heard lock sound and lights blink.

I paused for a moment and then smiled shaking my head. My car remote does this funny thing, once the key isn't inside the ignition keyhole and all doors closed, it triggers a lock. Dunno why that happens but i think am okay with that.

However when i smiled and shook my head. I remembered i had cut a spare key last December, i went inside to find it and i went to work.

What would had happened if i had one key? Story that touches the heart....

If you like bring bugatti. It is easiest as long as the car has a unlock button insid all car doors have a rubber seal round the edge to keep rain out. ... Let me not go futher with the process. Have a nice day

Happened once and made me feel so stupid. Luckily enough my father house is two streets away and thats where I prefer keeping my duplicate keys. The stupid thing was I only remebered the existence of a duplicate about 20munites after panicking. Now I keep it my handy bag together with the phone, lipstick and all......things I know I never go without.

Though have made multiple attempt closing the door against my key inside. But my car can't and won't lock if the keys are inside.. So their is no way for me to lock my keys inside.

Most certainly not a BMW with security package like mine bro. Happenned to me last year whereby I mistakenly dropped the keys in the booth while loading stuffs inside and slammed it shut and that was how my agony began. Called BMW road emergency and they asked me if my car is equipped with security package, I said yes and they told me nobody can open it, not even them. Only alternative I have will be to order for a new key from BMW headquarters in München ( note that I stupidly kept the spares inside the glove box). The BMW callcenter guy then gave me off-record a number of a Polish locksmith firm he knew that specializes in such hardnut cases. I called them, they came and used all their tools and wits for over an hour to get any of the doors, windows or the booth to even open a little without success. My car had to spend 3 days on a busy road before I got new keys to open it because I wouldn't have them smash open a 300 Euros car window and then go on to destroy the glove box to retrieve the spare because I locked it too with a separate key that the central lock won't activate.
I don't know of other cars but bro., your panel beater can not open a BMW equipped with security package and most BMW cars doesn't come with this package because it's part of the optional expensive Extras.
