this is how it all started. when JAMB registration officially started, we were all told to create our jamb profiles. When i was trying to create my own on my phone, i was getting a message that said i didn't fill the middle name window which i really did not fill because i have not been using the name in my past exams, it is not even in my birth certificate. So i decided to put the middle name thinking it would only be on the profile not the main jamb form/Reg. slip. Fastforward to where i was sitted ready to register for jamb, i was to told to provide my pin which i did. as soon as the pin was entered on the computer, i saw my names, the middle name and the other stuff you see when filling the form. i told the guy to remove the middle name but when he tried he saw that it could not be edited and truly it was not editable because the information was automatically lifted from the profile i used in buying the pin. Now correction of data which i have been trying to process online and in the cafe yielded no result as banks do not open on a saturday. it has now ended today. i was told that the error in the name would pose a big problem to me during clearance and i would have to type/swear an affidavit. Please what i want to know is whether i should do it now or wait till the time for clearance, and what it costs and requirements. |

so should i change it to the normal name on my past results or the name on the jamb result which includes the middle name |

change it to Your real name on your result, dont wait for clearance |
