Why Are The Pyramids Not Mentioned In The Bible? by LordCzar202: 3:42pm On May 07, 2017
First and foremost, we Christians have been spoonfed so much assertions in the bible and we swallowed hook line and sinker. But we being in an informative age, what is the value of absorbing all these biblical tales without questioning their inconsistencies? Whenever we say "the Exodus" everyone unconciously and instantly recognises the story of the fleeing Isrealites headed by Moses from the grip of egypts pharaoh. But very few know that the egyptian culture has never refered to their paramount rulers as pharoahs. Unfortunately the story of Moses has turned into an unshakable historical truth, but very little acheaological details points that the isrealites were ever in Egypt en mass.

Funny enough, nothing is recorded in Egyptian history alludes to the fact that this tale of Moses actually happened in Egypt. And as stated earlier, its more shocking the Egyptians dont refer to kings of Egypt as pharaohs. The only reason we believe it is cos the bible says so, and mainstream egyptologists just went along with the biblical narrative and absent mindedly designated Egyptian kings as pharaohs.

If we further examine the Hebrew text of which the bible was coined from, there is no mention of Egypt being the site/land of the Exodus story. The whole deception took place in the translation of the Hebrew and Aramaic text into Greek back in 300BC. This was then hijacked later and placed in the Hebrew bible we mainly use today.

Have you ever wondered why the Egyptian pyramids and temples are not mentioned in the bible. Do u know Egypt is mentioned about 600 times in the bible, and on the other hand the Isreaites are mentioned in Egyptian records only once. We are spoonfed the idea that the isrealites were kept in bondage in the land of Egypt, yet all historical evidence of the isrealites are deviod of Egyptian influence... and vice versa.

Everything about the ancient Egyptian culture, its arts, architecture, monuments, people, theology, mythology and pantheon of gods, is uniquely strong and influential... even to this very day. One would expect to find traces of influence in the Isrealites culture and tradition, giving the Isrealites were stated to have been in captivity for about 400years (some say 260years).

On the contrary, the Isrealites spent 70years in Babylonian captivity and that short period was documented by both Isreali and persian records.
Seventy years of captivity in Babylon have left its mark on the Hebrew culture, the Hebrew Talmud and the Hebrew Bible. Themes from Sumerian and Babylonian mythology like that of the flood, Adam and Eve and the tree of knowledge can be traced in the Hebrew book. Even parallels could be drawn between the birth legend of King Sargon of Akkad and that of Moses.

Is it not dissenting there is no mention of the pyramids in the bible; of which military leaders who came to Egypt from late antiquity onwards were keen to mention and document. When it comes to the isrealites and their Hebrew bible, there is total silence about not only the pyramids, but the features of the great Egyptian civilisation.

“Re-examine your old beliefs” to find out how they they have come to define you. Indeed we are limited, if not pre-conditiOn by our old beliefs and stories. As they once carved our past those same old stories keep on shaping how we view the present. Only the critical scrutiny of some of our old beliefs will decide if they will keep their (unwarranted) authority over us in the future.

It was a painful & sad era for Egypt. All traces of the event and presence was wiped off because Egypt was a world power

Its easy to say that but you can't just brandish yuh heresay/opinion against archeological facts. The truth is there are very little proof the Isrealites were ever in Egypt en mass. What archeologist point out to is a series of migrations, to and fro overtime of which the fable then originated from the travelers. Beside, Egyptian history is well documented and there are no pharaohs in there as kings of Egypt. Must I remind u that writting originated from egypt and they were the first civilisation to master the 3 Rs; reading writing and arithmetic

Pyramid is not a Spiritual word. It is an Egyptian mathematic symbol.

In addition to the fact that there is nothing in all of Egypt's history, which mentions a Pharoah who perished by drowning in pursuit of millions... nor the existence of millions of hebrew slaves, nor devastating plagues... in fact, if things transpired as the bible described, Egypt would have crumbled and never recover...
Imagine the economic implication of a nation losing its basic workforce of slaves over night... and having millions of its sons die in one night... all this after a series of devastating plagues which would bring the mightiest empire to its knees...

Yet, Egypt remained a powerful nation, economically and militarily for a very very long time...

Rabbi David Wolpe, an Israeli Judaism adherent already said the exodus was fiction

So what it entails is that the 5 books of Moses are largely fictional

to be fair, he didn't really say it didn't happen, he just said its definitely not as described in the bible, at least not literally

This is not surprising to me. Books that were written (by whoever) hundreds of years after Moses had gone. It is indeed the word of God. my deluded Christian friends quote from these books written by primitive cave men. it is sad indeed.

Yea... thats my stand on it too...plagiarised beginings exaggerated accounts and a overemphasised Exodus.

Well, i agree the story of exodus is and the Old Testament is obsolete... all a Christian need is all in the New Testament. But in Nigeria we draw so much inferences from the old into the new. That is where the brainwashing machine oils from.

Pyramid is an Egyptian language. It is not Hebrew, Greek, Latin or English.

My friend, pyramids is purely English and has deep rooted traditions and archetypes in many civilisations globally. Egyptians might not even be the first civilisation to build pyramids, they just built the baddest... Hence they are the cradle of civilisation
