The number of these people sentenced to the Cambodian, Indonesian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Singaporean, South African, and Malaysian prisons for cocaine trafficking offences is in the excess of One Million.

The proclivity of these people towards crime is second to none. The predisposition of these people towards making dirty money through illegitimate means is unrivaled. These people are the only one soiling the image of the country. I am sick and tired of these people. Infact I am sad.

Is it that other Nigerians tribes don't commit crimes because anytime Nigerian criminals are caught it's 50 50 chance that they are either Igbo or Yoruba

The judge was quite lenient with him.in some countries like China,India or Arab countries that hate Nigerians it's death sentence

At least he will see free food and accommodation for life, make new friends and all only difference is that his freedom is already taken from him.he won't work or fok for the rest of his life

I think that's a fair bargain. It's better than either death sentence, being imprisoned in Nigeria or even been free in Nigeria because even the ones that are free are in jail.indebted to bills etc for the rest of their lives

All this Tribal wars we keep fighting, that's what makes us weaker.
Yesterday it was labeled Edo Prostitute, some days ago it was Yoruba ritualist, today is Igbo drug dealer.

The elites in this Country survive and thrive based on the religious and tribal sentiments in the Country.

We will be shouting IPOB vs AFONJA, while a Politician in Enugu is planning on how to embezzle money with the help of a fellow Politician in Gombe state.

It's really a pity, why I have never complained of Racism is based on the fact that my own Country is very tribal and bigoted.
Why will I be offended if a Ukrainian man calls me Monkey angry when my fellow Countrymen calls me worst names
.
God bless you!

With a good lawyer this guy is innocent. He was waiting in hotel for Romanian, the Romanian was caught at the airport which means no drugs were found on chunwuemeke. He can be set free

Chukwuemeka Ibe

I have to join the league of those clamoring for leaders of thought meeting in the SE to look into this endemic situation among Igbo men.
Why do SEastern men like killing and jailing themselves in Asian prisons.?

A Cambodian court on Tuesday, May 8, convicted a Nigerian and Romania of cross-border drug smuggling, and sentenced both of them to life in prison.

Romanian man Adrian-Calin Varadi, 40, was caught on Aug. 14, 2016 when he arrived at the Phnom Penh International Airport from Brazil with 4.96 kg of cocaine hidden in his luggage.

Nigerian man Chukwuemeka Ibe, 35, was arrested later that day when he waited at his hotel room to receive the drugs to take them to neighboring Thailand.

The duo are charged with "illegally transporting the drugs" under the country's Drug Law, said a verdict read by Phnom Penh Municipal Court's Presiding Judge Im Vannak.

"The court decides to sentence each of them to life in prison and to fine them 40 million riel (10,000 U.S. dollars) each," the verdict said.

During a trial last month, Varadi confessed to the crime, but Ibe denied the charge, claiming that he did not know the package he supposed to receive was carrying drug.
Under the Cambodian law, the convicts have one month to appeal against the ruling.

Read that card he is carrying. He is 41 years old and not 35.

I'm sorry but Igbo people need to talk to theirselves and sort this out. Even my fellow Africans at my school here know about Igbo people and drugs.
its a big problem, the tribe is now so easily differentiated from other Nigerians because of this menace especially with the distinct names; chukwudi, chukwu something sha, everywhere even in kenya and other parts of africa, they are finding it so easy the identify the igbos separately from other Nigerians. If it was for positive causes, no problem but these drug issues and other vices are now being strongly attached to our brothers in SE and it's so worrying. Yes other tribes have got their issues but this drug thing is becoming too bad for our image not only for the SE but for all of us as Nigerians

Umunnem, when are we going to stop tarnishing the image of our tribe? Why are we so consumed with the desperate desire for ill gotten wealth? Must we even engage in drug peddling or Ogwu Ego?

Why dont we emulate the great Yoruba race. Ninety nine percent of the news about Nigerians nay Africans, doing excellently well over the world is always about the Yoruba's while news relating to crime and all other vices is always about us.

Oh ! Nsogbu Dikwa !
