Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai this morning appeared at the State High Court to testify in the libel suit he filed against The Union Newspaper in 2015 over a defamatory assets declaration story.


El-Rufai had sued the Lagos based newspaper for reporting that he declared assets worth N90billion before the Code of Conduct Bureau.

Nonsense and misplaced priority of a sitting governor.

He has immunity as a governor from being sued but the same confused constitution that gave him the right to be jumping up and down pursuing his perceived enemies.

The other day he was in a university abroad for a masters degree.

The spirit of the immunity is being defeated by these distractions.
