Armoured Personnel Carriers(APC) built or assembled in Africa, excluding South-Africa.

*excluding South-Africa primarily because armoured vehicles manufacturing in that country dates back to World War II.

From Egypt, Fahd APC and Temsah family of vehicles.

The Temsah from Egypt is licenced built as the vehicle is originally from the UAE.

From Algeria we got the Nimr LAV which is also licenced built from the UAE. The Fox is also another licenced built APC, but this time, it's from Germany.

Nimr from Algeria

Sudan completes the North-Africa round-up with a decent fleet of locally made vehicles. Unlike Egypt and Algeria some of the vehicles from Sudan are local, not licenced built.

From Sudan

To East-Africa were we have Ethiopia and Uganda.

Ethiopia mainly assembles Israeli and Chinese origin armoured vehicles.

From Ethiopia, the GAIA Thunder and the WZ-551 APCs.

Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by Nobody: 5:44pm On May 10, 2017
Also from Ethiopia is the licenced built WZ-551 from China.

But you can't see the full length of the gun in that picture. Why do you think it should be shortened though?

I know the length already without the picture. although it is a tank destroyer and the barrel lenght is justified but I reason that it will be too bulky and cumbersome to swing around during engagement in NE.

considering that BHT has no armor

considering that BHT has no armor
it is never going to engage in close combat or urban ones
the barrel is justified as it can pick out those satanic thugs hiding behind trees from far out
