4000 police, 135 NSCDC officers to guard IBB’s daughter wedding venues

No fewer than 4000 police officers and 135 National Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), have been deployed to Hill Top Villa of the former President Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida as he gives out her daughter in marriage.

The Police Commissioner Zubairu Mu’azu of the Niger State Police Command said they would deploy 4000 policemen who would provide security on the highways, major roads in Minna airport and the venues of the ceremony.

Also, his counterpart, Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Niger, Philip Ayuba said NSCDC would deploy 135 personnel to provide security before, during and after the wedding (fatiha).
