It is only haters of Ngwa people that will wish ikpeazu to loose . This governor has given Aba hope again after many years of neglect by the Orjis administrations.
I will say it again Abia North is like Northern Nigeria look at how they are busy litigating and distracting government that has much work on its hands .
IKPEAZU MUST WIN.

Take your Ngwa sentiment to the supreme court. Always bringing stupid sentiments to serious discussions.

Pls allow him to air his view because as an Igbo man, everytin about Abia State concerns him. Moreover, he could be from Anambara State but might be residing in Abia. So don't even try to disuade him from expressing his sincere opinion about our Abia, especially with over 90% of Abians desiring a true change in God's own state ... except d myopic Ngwa people

Ngwaland makes up more than 60% of Abia State, so I wonder where your 90% came from.

You guys from Abia North and Central messed up Abia, and you people are still looking for more opportunity to continue ur ruins.
I don't want to say anything because other Igbo haters might pick on that.

But you should know this is time for Ngwa people to govern the affairs of Abia state, it is just thing for them too, all the rejections of OVI comes down to the kind of mindset u expressed in your sentence.

Governor Ikpeazu dedicates victory to Abians

The Governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has dedicated his victory over Uche Ogah at the Supreme Court to the people of Abia state, who he said stood by him all through the period of litigations.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Enyinnaya Appolos, Governor Ikpeazu stated that the victory is a re-affirmation of the mandate given to him by the people, and now twice confirmed by the Supreme Court.

He stressed that only God will take glory for the victory, and commended the judiciary for standing firm on the side of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Governor Ikpeazu wishes to call on all Abians to join hands with him to ensure accelerated growth and development of the state.

According to him; "the time for politics is long over, and I have forgiven all those that were bent on distracting me. Let all well meaning Abians, including my opponents, come and join us to grow and develop our state without distractions as we ultimately have stakes in the growth and development of our state and people

"Today, there is the work of Abia to do and history will judge us by how much of that work we do, not by how much politics we play. My doors are open to all, my ears are open to hear and my eyes are strong enough to read suggestions on how we can best deliver greater dividends to those who really matter: the great people of Abia State."

the ngwa clan is closely related to the mbaise clan in imo and the clans in ukwa east and west. The ngwa make up Abias 7 lga out of a total of 17(didnt include the 2 lga the ukwa is indigenous to)

when i first saw this thread i shunned it but came around after someone had commented, i declared that it would be Ikpeazu's day.
Honestly i dont know how Oga convinced himself on this case which was dead on arrival. How could a man who had a few votes at the primaries suceed a man who not only won the primaries but the main election. oga should have read Lado vs CPC and Timipre vs PDP where the Supreme Court held that the sponsorship of candidates are the internal affairs of political parties. The court stepped down her earlier decisions in Amaechi vs INEC in 2008.

Again he went to court, rejecting the primaries that brought Ikpeazu to power claiming it never took place and he never got the votes so declared only to want to benefit from the same election

Again the tax matter was left at the door step of the internal revenue board and they owned up to the mistakes therein so i wondered how oga invested energy in wanting to govern Abia through the back door.

Ikpeazu is a rogue sponsored by rogues (THE ORJI who by the way is still in Abuja hiding). All of this election mess was because he spoke up against the Fulani barbarians killings when he was supposed to remain "quiet" and play his warrant chief role as destroyer and looter of a part of the Eastern region.

OK. But some Ukwas disagree to be called Ngwa or collectively as Ukwangwa.

Is alright... But I will give Ngwa 45%.
