Good morning Nairalanders. I have Nissan Primera 1995 model. The problem is that when I slow down at bends or potholes the car engine suddenly dies. I have to always restart each time. ease what could be responsible for this? Thank you all. |

Check air intake, it's mostly the cause of the problem then probably increase the rpm |

What level is your fuel gauge when the vehicle stalls, I suspect a weak fuel pump, from your description, had the same issue on my primera a while back. |

Please check your fuel pump if its returning well. Also check if the engine 'slow' is not too much. |

This is clearly a throttle body / air intake system issue causing malfunction in idle speed control. |
