Is he expected to support the local league just because he's a celebrity? That's hypocrisy IMO. I dare say more than 80% of football watching Nigerians don't support clubs in the country. To me, this isn't a bad thing as the league is fraught with so much violence and irregularities. It's not okay for me and these celebrities to support Nigeria League just because it's Nigerian. That's not incentive enough.

Peter has been a vocal and passionate fan of Chelsea for years. If you think he's going to change that to conform with that fan's warped logic of supporting the local league just because it 'looks' patriotic, she's on a long thing.

It is people like you that will insult the league, cos they fight and do all sort of rubbish but do you believe if the league get the awareness it ought to, many of these guys will behave cos they know what is at stake..
