JAMB 2017: My Experience by Iamdmentor1(m): 1:43pm On May 14, 2017
This year Jamb is actually the worst ever experienced.

So, my guy came home today around 6.30am and lamented his experience.

His exam was scheduled for 1.30pm at High Tree College, Ipaja. He arrived the venue at 1 pm. He arrived there to find people who have been there since 7am. He was unruffled and joined the people waiting like sheeps without shepherd.

After assuring them that they will fix the issue around 4pm, They pushed them to another center due to bad service around 7pm. Some people left to come back later after waiting for long.

This guy had not eaten since morning and they were taken to another centre.

Officials told them that they new centre was not far, so they hit the road and arrived there around 10pm, that is 22:00 or more preferably 10 o'clock at night to write exam o.

They started exam around 10:30pm. He said maths was very easy so he saved it for the last and started with physics and chemistry.

The network was so bad and the time continued elapsing, it was bad mehn, he lamented.

To worsen the whole thing, they were asked to submit 45 minutes before their time elapsed. Everyone was forced to leave the hall. About 99% of them did guess work, he added.

Bad system, bad network, bad everything, he explained angered.

He said there was one girl whose exam was scheduled at 7am, that had not eaten. He said the girl was just rolling and gasping for air, that she almost Fainted.

hahaha, I thought that this only happened to my center at Coronata Mascot Secondary school Asaga in Ohafia L.G.A. I actually left home in Isuikwuato L.G.A by 5am so that I can meet up with my exam which was said to commence by 7am of which started by 8am.
Just 10mis into the exam we encounter a power failure and was ratify 5mis later.

After 40ms we encounter another one which lasted for 4hrs, then we're called together and ask to exercises a little patients.
after another 3hrs we we're transferred to another center at Otondo which is up to 2km and most of us use leg under the sun, like me I only have my transports tro and fro so no miss of transport to the center accept use my legs .
At last we the 7am candidate started the exam by 5: 30pm and by 7:30pm after we're asked to round up.
8pm that is when afternoon candidate started there Exam
My dear in was so terrible yesterday but tank God for everything and for journey mercy

had a similar experience last year...our exams were scheduled to kick off by 6:30 am but we actual started the exam by 12 in the evening. to complicate our plights, we were logged out barely 1 hour we started the exams.I beg death to swallow me instantly but for where, none was coming.

we slept at that God forsaken center that day.wake up the following morning from the dirty ground we sleep on and carry my dirty self and zoom to my papas house and wait for my fate.

CBT centers I think should be blame here and not jamb.

Gain Admission without jamb

Direct 200 level admission without jamb.

How long will you be sitting for jamb examination?

Have you ever reason it that there are other means of gaining admission into Nigerian Universities ?

I am pleased to introduce to you a programme called IJMB. This is a 10 months programme after which you cross to university of your choice.
With Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination (IJMBE) you can cross to 200 level in any university of your choice and course. You don't need Jamb for this programme. For confirmation of this programme, you can check the first front pages of your jamb brochures to confirm the validity of this information.

For more information and registration,

Registration is on!!!!!!

Note: we are ready to help you as we have been doing for years. Call us today!!!!!

This is so sad, they should scrap dis jamb of a thing already. When they release the results now, parents would start blaming their children for poor performance.

JAMB is not the problem, but we nigerians are the architect of our own misfortune, how could someone set up a center without having adequate facility, i wrote jamb 5years ago LASU was my center then it is paper no cbt yet, i was scheduled to start 9am, only for me to be checked into the hall past 12, i barely finish with two subjects when they said 30mins more,,,,,had to scuffle with phy n maths within 30min,,,,i finally got 216,,,i even passed more than all my frnds that had better centers n was admitted that year to the university,,,,,,all the best

Nigeria! We aren't ready for anything related to computer or internet yet.

When that Islamic professor was appointed to head JAMB, I already knew how the exam will be.

Can this administration ever get anything right

This jamb of a thing is so annoying. Why can't they just do it the way they used to do it before? They can't tell me that they don't know that this is getting worst by the day. Not as if jamb registration is free and u write it from home. Young people go thru so much emotional, physical and mental stress every year just to write jamb and yet these idiots can't even find a reasonable solution to the problem.

I'm really vexed.

To Whom It May Concern
Enough of gambling/trier of policies in the name of writing jamb in the life of children. All these children are just been exposed to avoidable danger. How on earth could the JAMB authority slated exam for 6am? haba
