Why are people surprised? When the manner of acquisition of Chieftancy title is faulty and abused, this is what you get! In the process of being attacked, the attacker accused him of robbery.

have you seen mob in action before?
mob don't have eyes, they mostly just beat the suspect till he confesses then burn him.

Only in rare cases do they catch the suspect in action (not when he has already escaped and they just grabbed innocent passer by who was at the wrong place at wrong time) then they will beat him to confess others, and that one will start pointing fingers to innocents people when the beating becomes unbearable so the person can share in the beating.


This is why I will never support jungle justice except its nigerian politician.
